Brive airport opened in 2010 and is a slightly quicker drive to us as opposed to a drive from Bergerac. Cityjet from London city airport and Jet2 from Manchester will be operating in the 2012 season
DRIVING -

A personal recommendation (from Calais/Boulogne) to avoid Paris would be to take the A16 then A28 to Rouen and then pick up the A28 again towards Le Mans, a relativley new section of the motorway.
Or take a scenic route with a stop off making the journey part of your holiday. There are many interesting places to visit on the way eg. The Loire Valley.
